Customer FAQs

1. How does Low Income Auto Repair (LIARP) work?

We match you with member auto repair shops offering discounted services based on your income. Just sign up through our app, share your vehicle and income info, and choose a nearby shop to book your repair.

2. Who qualifies for discounts?

Anyone can sign up, but discounts are based on your monthly net income. Our plans are tiered to offer the most support to those who need it most.

3. What kinds of repairs are included?

Almost every kind of repair, from brakes, AC, check engine lights, transmission work, and even towing and quick lube services. Collision repair is not covered, but we’ll help you get there safely if needed.

4. How do I find shops near me?

Our app uses GPS to show you trusted providers within 20 miles. You can zoom in/out or browse by list view to choose a location that works best for you.

5. Do I need a credit card to sign up?

Yes. A valid debit or credit card is required to secure your estimate and any booked appointments. No charges are made without your approval.

6. Can I add more than one car to my account?

Absolutely. We offer family plans that let you manage multiple vehicles under one profile. Additional vehicles may affect your monthly discount package pricing.

7. What if I need a tow?

We’ve got you. Our app lets you request a tow directly. If a shop doesn’t offer towing, we’ll connect you with nearby towing providers under our network.

8. Is my information safe?

Yes. We use secure servers and encryption to protect your personal and financial information. We never sell your data.

9. What if something goes wrong with the shop?

We’re here to help. Tap the “Help” button in the app, and our admin team will step in. We monitor and review all providers to ensure quality service.
